Back on February 2 we had a pretty sizable ice storm. I usually enjoy these kinds of storms because it means Brian usually works from home, and we all know how much we love having him around:) And I also love how it coats everything and makes it all beautiful.
But with beauty comes a price to pay. This last storm caused us to lose half of one of our huge pine trees that lines our back property. Fortunately there was no damage, other then a dented gutter on the property behind us. And also fortunately, Brian coaches the son of a man who has a tree trimming/removal business on the side. So, for a really good price, he came in and not only cut up and hauled away the broken tree, but also cleaned up all the dead wood that was on the inside of all the pine trees down there.
