As my daughters played with PlayDoh after lunch today, the thought occurred to me that I am such a control freak when it comes to playing with this. I always tell Emma that she cannot mix the colors and that before she opens another can she puts the first one away. Why? Because I like things clean and in order. But clearly this is not what a 3 1/2 wants to do. So, then came the idea that we have a big container of PlayDoh. Why not have a time that the kids can do whatever they want to with the PlayDoh. I promptly gave all the neighbors a call and said come to our back yard after rest times and let's have some fun. As you can see in the pictures a good time was had by all. We made everything from multi-colored pancakes to striped fish. The kids had a great time and it felt great to relinquish my controlling personality and just let kids be kids.

Free for all PlayDoh time
