Around the tree and through the hole

Another milestone was met today July 4th, 2011.  Emma decided she wanted to learn how to tie shoes.  We have a book that was rediscovered today and she practiced for a few minutes with that and then before I knew it she wanted to try on her own shoes.  She is so proud of herself, as I am of her.  This was on her list of things she wanted to accomplish before 1st grade.  With the laid back pace of summer and the late nights and the lack of a schedule I am proud that she took it upon herself to get something crossed off the list.  Now we can work towards a few more things on the list......... in our shoestring sneakers.  Because she can;)  So proud of you Emma!
