Philly Zoo Field Trip

Many months ago, Emma asked if I would be a chaperone for her field trip to the Philadelphia Zoo.  I told her I would submit my name and see if I was chosen.  As luck would have it I was chosen and my Mom was able and willing to come watch Rebecca.  So, on a rather cloudy day, we got onto six buses and headed to the Philly Zoo.  The best part for me was that I was chaperoning a total of 2 kids.  Emma and her best friend from Kindergarten.  I was a perfect day.  I didn't have to worry about anything.  They were like two peas in a pod and we just leisurely walked around the zoo and spent time at exhibits that the girls were interested in.  We even went back to a few places that they loved.  I was so thankful to have the opportunity to be a part of memories for Emma.

Best friends

A little spray is not putting a damper on the day.

Is that bird really that close?

Two peas in a pod or two kids in a tire?

We can drive this thing.

Why isn't this thing moving?
