My Aunt Barbara got a perler bead set for Emma this summer. She really enjoyed doing it, so when we got home from there we bought her another kit with a few patterns. Well, this Christmas Aunt Barbara got the girls a jar with 11,000 beads in it. With all my might I have refrained from organizing the beads by color;) The girls have had a fabulous time coming up with their own patterns and I have used my iron more in the past two weeks than in the entire time we have lived in this house.
Well, it had gotten to the point where I didn't want to pick up one more "creation" from the floor because once you make these what are you supposed to do with them. So, I came up with the idea of making a mobile for each of the girls' rooms and have just hung them randomly on the mobile. They are very proud of all of their perler bead ornaments. And they aren't all over my floor.

What a great idea to make a mobile! Guess you'll have to make more as their collection grows!
With 11K beads, you will soon have a house full of mobiles! I guess by the summer they will have made their way outside and we will see them hanging from your climbing tree ;)
