I am very thankful, yet again, for my neighbors across the street. They had a baby girl back in July. Rebecca is absolutely in love with this little girl (as we all are). She has been quite the motivator for Rebecca. I asked her who she would want to give her pull-ups to when she was potty trained and she said Chloe. So, Chloe it is. Rebecca doesn't need to know that Chloe won't be thinking about that for another 2 1/2 years, does she?
Anyway, we are extremely proud of her and she is so proud of herself. This morning in church she told one of the kids that she was in underpants and asked the girl if she wanted to see them. I suppose asking her rather than just flashing them to her is a good sign, right? The next step is underpants at nighttime. Not too far off as she has been dry the past 4 nights in a row.
Maybe all this growing up she is doing explains some of the tantrums and biting that was going on a few weeks back. So many things to accomplish and such a little girl doing it. We are proud of you, Rebecca. A job well done!

I had a friend who used to say that whenever kids regress, it is because they are about to make a developmental leap. Seems to be true a lot of the time ... maybe for Rebecca too!
