School through a 6 year old's eyes

This is just going to be a bulleted list of things I have noticed about Emma the past few days.  1st grade is a HUGE adjustment for all of us, but especially her.

• It is such a long day.
• I have to make new friends.
• My teacher is nice.
• There are so many rules.
• I don't get to do arts and crafts.
• I don't get to watch TV anymore.
• I just want to stay in my jammies.
• I am going to hate homework.
• I don't get to sit and chit chat with you at night time for very long because I have to go to bed.
• I am SO hungry when I get home.

It is going to take time for this kid to adjust to life as a full time student.  But this, like everything, is going to turn out ok for her. (and us;)
