This was the only time the girls were still the entire evening:)
As I sit here in my living room, I am listening to two little girls down in our basement who are supposedly watching, "Mary Poppins." Emma wanted to have Audrey over for a movie night so they could hang out together. We invited Audrey over for dinner as well. The movie began at 6:30 and it is now, 8:25, I am 99% sure that if you asked either one of them what the movie was about they would not be able to tell you. Brian and I went back and forth on whether we should watch it in the living room or the basement and I am so glad the basement won out. I could hear both of them screaming while I was upstairs putting Rebecca to bed. And the best part of all of it is that Brian agreed to "watch" the girls while getting some work done down there. I promise you that if that was me in the basement my ears would either be ringing for the next three days or bleeding from punctured ear drums. I really had no idea how ear piercing two girls could be. I wonder if that is why the two dogs next door seemed a little rambunctious tonight? Two little girls were breaking the sound barrier. I figure this is just a sign of things to come when Rebecca gets a little bit older and Emma and Rebecca get to playing. It is great to see that they can be so happy together, movie or not. Thank you Audrey for tiring out Emma. You can come over anytime.

Just FYI, you can certainly tell Audrey that she's not allowed to scream (that's what I tell her!!) :) Hope Brian's ears have recovered!
