After a great visit with Grandpa and Grammy, we headed to Uncle Glenn, Aunt Char, Nathan and Rachel's house for their 5th and 2nd birthdays. It was really great because we could stay at their house and were there with my other brother and his family. A great time for the cousins to all be together and spend time playing.
It is not too often that we all get together so when we do, it is fun to be amongst all the chaos of 6 kids from age 6 to age 1.
Glenn and Char bought Nathan and Rachel a swing set for their birthday and of course it turned out beautifully in their back yard.
Rebecca did not take too long to figure out how to climb the ladder on the side. Thank goodness Uncle Craig was their to see it happen as Rebecca was oh so proud of herself. She promptly went across the tunnel to the super fast slide and went down with no fear whatsoever. Glad to know for sure that we have two monkeys in our house.
It was at this point that Brian and I decided that we were either going to embrace this bit of adventurous nature in our children or fight it. We decided we can't fight it, so we will embrace it and just be sure to keep all eyes on the kids.
What a great time everyone had celebrating Nathan and Rachel's birthday. They all grow up so fast so whenever we get the chance to capture a few moments on camera we do. Hard to believe Lauryn is going to be 6. Where does the time go?

What an awesome swing set. If that was in our backyard. Nathan and Thomas would declare the top their fort and the girls would have the bottom!
