Preschool in the Valley was the first formal education for both of my children. For the past four years I have been driving the kids to Preschool. Oh my how I love that school! It was such a great thing for each of my children for different reasons. For Rebecca, it has provided her the opportunity for social interaction with other children and learning self-control. We are so pleased with all the wonderful things that school has offered. I will admit that a few tears were shed in the days leading up to Rebecca's graduation. I am saying goodbye to preschool forever. My children will never have that carefree "fun" school setting. Now it is academic, academic, academic. I will not get any more of the alphabet art, painted rainbows, Mother's Day handprint flowers, etc. But as sad as I was for it to be over, Rebecca had very mixed feelings. She was so excited that she was going to Kindergarten in the fall but also very sad that her teacher wouldn't follow her to Kindergarten. The pictures below will capture some of the wonderful moments in the last few weeks of Preschool.

Teacher Tina, her gym teacher, planned a few activities at the last day of school picnic.
We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to send our children to a school that has readied them for Kindergarten and given them a positive outlook on school. Now onto the next chapter as we fondly look back at the past four years. Thanks to all the fabulous staff at Preschool in the Valley!
