Halloween Parades/Trunk or Treat

The girls both had their school parades on Friday, like the rest of America.  We had Rebecca's first thing in the morning.  It was interesting to watch the kids.  It was kind of like how animals must feel like at a zoo.  All eyes and cameras on them and them not really understanding what all the fuss is about.  Fun none-the-less.

Then it was home to get Emma ready for her parade that afternoon.  Her costume was a little more complicated than simply slipping a dress on.  We worked on the face make up and then made a few modifications to the box and off she went to her parade.

After the kids got home, they touched up make up and changed costumes and we were off to a local church for Trunk or Treating.  We went with a few neighbors.  The idea is that cars get decorated and kids go from car to car to Trick or Treat from the cars.  The kids had a great time and it didn't take too long, which was nice because it was COLD out.

It has been a lot of fun watching the kids get so excited about Halloween.  Just wait until Sunday night.....
