1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Definitely Hot Chocolate. My Aunt usually buys me the huge box from BJ's Wholesale for Christmas. That gets me through the end of January.
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Always wraps them. Not always with bows and ribbons.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? white. But as was tradition when I was growing up, my parents let us have a string of colored lights that we could hang in our bedrooms. I have carried that tradition over to our kids.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? No
5. When do you put your decorations up? The Friday after Thanksgiving. Although this year it was beautiful outside the weekend before Thanksgiving, so I hung up the outside lights but just didn't light them up until after Thanksgiving.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? We usually just have a lasagna or something similar since we take the kids to the children's service and then I have to go back to church to sing the late service. Christmas day usually consists of a houseful of h'dourves.
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? Coming downstairs Christmas morning to the Christmas tree lights being on and all the presents under the tree. So magical!!
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? What truth?
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? No. Always Christmas morning.
10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? White lights and ornaments that we have had since Brian and I were kids as well as ones we have given the kids.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Love it!!! Then again, I don't have to drive in it to get to work.
12. Can you ice skate? Not without injuring some part of my body that I didn't know existed.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? My bright red radio/cassette player I was allowed to keep in my room at age 12. It is still out in our garage today.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Spending time with my family and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? All of them!
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Writing Santa Claus a note on Christmas Eve and leaving out cookies and milk for him and carrots for his reindeer.
17. What tops your tree? A white star.
18. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving? As a kid definitely receiving. As an adult definitely giving.
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? O Holy Night (it is also my favorite one to perform.)
20. Candy Canes: Yuck or Yum? I can't have them because I get a migraine with the Red 40.
21. Favorite Christmas Show? Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
22. Saddest Christmas Song? Mary Did You Know.
