Let the Games Begin
Today is the official start of the PAL Youth Wrestling Season. I must say there are mixed feelings about this. I am thrilled that the team has more kids than Brian has ever had (more than 70). The girls and I went to the parent meeting last week just so the girls could see Daddy in action. Brian looked genuinely excited and I am so glad for that. He is so good at being a coach and it is a great way for him to "give back to the community." I am proud of the work that he does with the kids, as I know how difficult it can be sometimes to work with a large number of them. He is a great coach and a great person and being able to share both with someone else is a true gift. On the other hand, we will miss having him around every night and on weekends. We all love him and love spending time with him. Now that the girls are a bit older I hope we can go to some of the matches to watch as the days will get long with the daylight hours getting shorter and shorter. I wish Brian all the luck this season that neither he nor any of his kids suffer any injuries and look forward to April.

Hey Sis,
I know how hard this time can be for you. Call if you need to vent or for any other reason. I'll be thinking of you. Love, Char
Way to be supportive! I know it's difficult being on your own so much this time of year. Hopefully this year it will be a little easier with the girls another year older and Emma becoming more independent. As always, let us know if we can help out.
