As everyone knows by now, we just had a new deck put on our house. We are absolutely thrilled with the work that was done, as well as the results. The girls can go on the deck and I don't have to worry about them falling through the railing or down the stairs. The best feature for me is the swinging gate that the guys put on. Emma can open it, but Rebecca has not completely figured it out. My Dad had received some solar lanterns at Habitat for Humanity where he volunteers. He brought them down this weekend and we loved them. So, we went and purchased two more to go across the deck. Emma wanted to help Daddy hang the holders, so she climbed right up on the ladder and used the drill to screw them in. What a great helper she is!!
