An email from school

As I was paying some bills this morning I saw that I had received an email from school.  I know that I am turning 40, but you would have thought I was 6 again.  Could it possibly be that I still get nervous at the thought of getting in trouble?  Not that I did when I was in school, but I always wanted to do the right thing.

So, when this email arrived, I couldn't help but worry that something happened to Emma.  She is the same way when it comes to pleasing people and wanted to always do the right thing.

Then I opened the email and found this:

Dear Mom,

Today at lunch, I got to throw a shaving cream pie at a teacher.  Mrs. Kryder was a volunteer and I chose her.  But I waited until she wasn’t paying attention and she had her mouth open because she was laughing at someone else.  Then I THREW it at her face!  Shaving cream went up her nose and in her mouth.  I can’t stop laughing because it was SO funny!

Love Emma

I can't wait for her to come home and tell me all about it.  She finally got permission to do something that you should NEVER EVER do.  I can hear her sweet little voice now.."Mom you will never guess what I got to do today."
