As I sit here and begin to type this, I hope that I am not jinxing myself. I have totally been enjoying my kids the past couple of weeks and as I reflect back on it I am realizing that they are playing SO nicely together and sharing and playing board games and doing crafts and genuinely enjoying each other's company. I think my kids are growing up.
Emma is realizing that Rebecca's sole purpose in life is not to invade and destroy, but rather to admire and learn from. Emma thinks it is pretty cool to be in a place where little sister is totally looking up to her. She is also taking the responsibility that goes along with it. I will hear her tell Rebecca that they aren't allowed to do something or Mommy wouldn't like that (at which point I find out what it is I wouldn't like).
Even though there are no naps taking place, they are playing together for sometimes as long as 2 hours upstairs. The Martz household is in a good place right now. There seems to be a feeling of peace over here and I LOVE IT!!!!!
And now I will go fall on my knees, thank God and pray for more of the same;)

Enjoy it! I hope they will always be the best of friends. My two have been off and on with getting along. They are either blissfully happy with each other, or at each others throats. I'd rather there be a steady medium, but..oh, well! I'm gonna blame it on cabin fever!
Thanks Kelly. I am enjoying it. I have never been part of the sister thing. It is neat to watch.
